Board the early morning boat/cruise for Havelock. Cruise in the Andaman Sea with the flying fishes and Dolphins (you may be lucky to sight some) to reach Havelock islands. Our tour executive will receive you at the jetty and take you to Radhanagar beach. Spend your day amidst the white sand and the waves. This beach has been rated the best beach in Asia. Do not forget to take a long walk on the coast line, between the tall standing trees.Â
Note: Ask the hotel to give you a packed breakfast as the ferry leaves early in the morning. Carry your swimming costume. Changing room with fresh water & lockers are available in Radhanagar beach. Carry minimum luggage with you.
Day 3: Baratang Island through Jarawa reserve and Limestone caves
Wake up early morning for your day trip to Baratang Island. Take your packed breakfast along and start your journey through the dense forest (110 kms/4.5 hours drive) crossing of the protected Jarawa reserve to reach Baratang. Ride the speed boats through the mangroves to the magnificent Lime Stone Caves.Â
Note: Do not take photographs or stop the vehicle to interact with the Jarawas. Guests violating the tribal reserve rules are liable to be prosecuted.
Day 4: Jolly Buoy island/Red skin Island
Jollybouy is the main attraction of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park at Wandoor. It is an uninhibited island rich of coral reefs. The journey from Wandoor jetty is approx. 30 mins by boat. A session of glass bottom boat ride is complimentary for coral viewing. You can hire the boat men for snorkeling and additional round in the glass bottom boat. It is a strict no plastic zone and nothing is available in the island. Avoid going deep in the water unless you are an expert swimmer.Â
Note: Plastic bottles are not permitted in the island. You can take the Milton flasks available against a security deposit at the jetty to carry water. Do not carry poly bags. Use cloth or jute bags to carry some snacks and your other belongings.
