Day 1

Meet on arrival at Jammu airport / railway station and drive to Katra for Vaishnodevi Darshan. Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words “Maa” and “Mata “are commonly used in India for “Mother “, and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Once you arrive at your Hotel, You will be duly checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight at Katra. (At their own cost).

Day 2

Early morning starts for Vaishnodevi climb (Total 13 Kms Walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). Enroots Stops at Adhkwari Temple and Darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During summer and Peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the wait period could be half an hour to 3 hours Depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to being the uphill walk) it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. Guests are looking for Helidarshan. (Helicopter ride, Darshan and back), morning flights are recommended for best weather and least uncertainty. Return by late evening.

Day 3

After breakfast leave from Katra and drive towards Pahalgam. Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir).It is 5 hours journey on way. On the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantang sulphur spring. Bat village and apple orchids. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening the music of running water of river ladder and spend a few hours of evening on the back of river. Over Night at Hotel. O/N Pahalgam. Note: in Pahalgam: Horse Riding, Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Baisaran Valley (Cost Extra)

Day 4

After breakfast drive towards Srinagar & local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Visit: - Mughal garden:- Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love). Overnight Stay at Srinagar.

Day 5

After breakfast, this morning, proceed to Gulmarg. In Gulmarg and take a ride in the world’s highest Cable car “Gondola “or enjoy your day by playing golf in the world’s highest golf course. Overnight stay at Srinagar, (Gondola & Pony ride- Not Included) Note: In Winter’s Snow Jeep transfers from Tangmarg to Gulmarg to Tangmarg: Applicable in Nov & Dec Month (Cost Extra) No Cars are allowed to move inside Gulmarg area, due to issue of horse owner’s association.

Day 6

Local Sight Seeing, leave for local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Visit: - Mughal garden: - Chasma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nish at (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love). Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 7

The Drive from Srinagar to sonmarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy field with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4 Kms from Sonmarg, a local taxi has to be hired for it (on your own cost). The name Sonmarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold“ & “Meadow” , when put together it means “ Meadow of Gold”. Return to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 8

After an early breakfast, Check out from your hotel & drive to Jammu to catch your flight / train Back to home. Tour Ends.

Tips

  • if you are thinking of visiting Kashmir, we would suggest you to go light on your luggage and make sure to do you’re packing nicely; we would recommend that you take your clothes as per the weather of Kashmir in the season that you plan to visit Kashmir in.
  • So, that you can carry your woollens, casuals etc with you, Kashmir happens to be a cold place so you should carry some woollens along for sure. It is important that you also carry a first aid box with you while you are travelling to Kashmir.
  • So, we would suggest you to take along all your necessary medications. These should include any medicine that you are on as well as anti nausea pills which is really important, bandages, antiseptic, anti allergic pills, etc because it is very likely for people to fall ill at new place.
  • Government issued identity proofs need to be shown at the hotel or resort before check-in. Always keep the Id proof with yourself while travelling.
  • Keep a digital copy of your documents in your mobile devices in case of loss or emergency.
